Problems With the Video?

Follow these 4 simple steps to diagnose your problem with the video:

Step 1: Check Minimum Requirements

If you are having trouble with the video feed, the problem may be due to your system or connection speed. Please review the system requirements in the "Help" section in order to determine if your system meets the minimal requirements to watch "The Prepare For Love Show" live feed.

Step 2: Perform Speed Test

If you have reviewed the minimum system requirements and your system meets or exceeds the requirements, yet you you are still having trouble viewing the live video feed, please perform the free speed test below. In order to watch Prepare for Love live with no buffering issues, your download connection speed should be at least 1Mb/s.

In order to check your connection speed, click "Begin test" on the Speedtest.net Mini application on the right. Between 5-15 seconds (depending upon your computer speed and connection speed), the test will begin. The bandwidth test will perform a test for your download speed and your upload speed. Once the test is complete, you will be able to determine if your download connection speed meets the minimum system requirements. (NOTE: If the test does not start, please ensure that you have Adobe Flash Player installed and your firewall is not blocking the ports needed to stream live video.) In order to view our online video stream, your system should pass the speed test with at least a 1m reading on the dial or over 1000 kbps for the Download Speed.

Step 3: Increasing the Buffer

If you find that your download speed meets the minimum requirements, but you are still having issues watching the live video feed, please increase your video buffer by clicking on the "MENU" button located directly below the video viewer window. An option labeled "Buffer time" will appear. Simply click on the slider, and drag it to the right in order to increase your buffer time to 2 or 3 seconds. This should improve your viewing experience and decrease re-buffering issues.

Step 4: Tell the Online Host

If you are still have problems after following these instructions, please message an online host by double-clicking on their name (nicknames beginning with "RSC") to the user list on the right-hand side of the chat window and they will be able to walk you through steps to help you trouble-shoot your connection problems.
